Station 58 • Northern Cambria, PA
Proudly protecting our community since 1898. Dedicated volunteers committed to fire protection, emergency response, and community service.
For over 125 years, Spangler Fire Company has been the backbone of fire protection and emergency response in Northern Cambria, Pennsylvania. What began in 1898 as a small group of dedicated community members has grown into a proud tradition of service.
Today, our volunteer firefighters continue that legacy, responding to structure fires, vehicle accidents, rescue calls, and hazardous materials incidents. We are more than just a fire department—we are neighbors helping neighbors, a family committed to keeping our community safe.
Our station on Bigler Avenue serves as the headquarters for Station 58, housing modern apparatus while honoring our rich history. We also own and operate the Contres-Greer Social Hall, hosting community events and fundraisers that bring our community together.
Our modern fleet of apparatus is ready to respond to any emergency, from structure fires to technical rescues.
Our dedicated volunteer firefighters train year-round to protect our community. From rookies to veterans, we work as one team.
